Preparation Instructions
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- 2
Melt Butter and Chocolate
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter and Ghirardelli chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 3
Mix Wet Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. Slowly pour in the melted chocolate-butter mixture, continuing to whisk until smooth.
- 4
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- 5
Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- 6
Bake the Brownies
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 7
Cool and Cut
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut into wedges and serve.
