Method
Prepare the Scallops

Clean the Scallops
Rinse the sea scallops under cold water to remove any sand or debris. Pat them dry with paper towels.

Preheat the Broiler
Turn on the oven's broiler and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.
Make the Breadcrumb Topping

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, mix together the seasoned breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Add Olive Oil
Drizzle the olive oil over the breadcrumb mixture and stir until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.
Broil the Scallops

Arrange Scallops
Place the cleaned and dried scallops on a broiler-safe pan or baking sheet, spaced apart.

Top with Breadcrumb Mixture
Spoon the breadcrumb topping evenly over each scallop.

Garnish and Plate
Remove the scallops from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
