Preparation

Preheat the Broiler
Preheat your broiler to high heat. Ensure the oven rack is about 6 inches away from the heat source.

Prepare the Fish
Rinse the Boston Scrod fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bread Crumb Mixture

Mix the Bread Crumb Topping
In a bowl, combine the Italian bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried parsley, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Add Olive Oil
Drizzle the olive oil over the breadcrumb mixture and stir until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.
Assembly

Top the Fish
Evenly sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the top of each Boston Scrod fillet, pressing it down slightly to adhere.
Broiling

Broil the Fish
Place the baking sheet under the broiler. Broil for about 8-10 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
