Method
Prepare the Clams
- 1
Clean and Open Clams
In a large bowl, add the fresh clams and cover them with water. Let them soak for about 30 minutes to remove any sand. After soaking, rinse the clams under running water and scrub the shells to clean them. Using a knife, gently pry open the clam shells and remove the meat. Discard the empty shells and chop the clam meat into small pieces.

Stuff the Clams
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Take the cleaned clam shells and spoon the filling mixture into each shell, packing it tightly. Place the stuffed clams on a baking sheet.
