Warm Carrots

Crispy Chickpeas

Method

Warm Carrots

  1. 1

    Prepare the Carrots

Peel the carrots and cut them into sticks or rounds, about 1/2 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Season and Cook

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the carrots, salt, cumin, coriander, paprika, and black pepper. Stir to coat the carrots evenly.

  3. 3

    Sauté

Cook the carrots for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and slightly caramelized.

Spiced Labneh

  1. 4

    Mix the Labneh

In a bowl, combine the labneh, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and lemon juice. Stir until well blended.

  2. 5

    Garnish

Top with chopped parsley for added flavor and color. Set aside to let the flavors meld.

Crispy Chickpeas

  1. 6

    Prepare the Chickpeas

Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

  2. 7

    Season

In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, salt, cumin, and paprika until evenly coated.

  3. 8

    Bake

Spread the chickpeas on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and golden, shaking the pan halfway through.
