Oven-Roasted Turkey Subs

Homemade Turkey Sub

Method

Oven-Roasted Turkey Subs

  1. 1

    Prepare the turkey

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan and season it with salt and black pepper. Roast for about 1.5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let it cool, then slice thinly.

  2. 2

    Assemble the subs

Start by slicing the sub rolls in half. Spread mayonnaise on both sides of the rolls. On the bottom half, layer the roasted turkey slices, followed by a generous spoonful of cranberry sauce, a layer of stuffing mix, lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, and pickles. Top with the other half of the roll.

Homemade Turkey Sub

  1. 3

    Prepare the turkey

If using leftover turkey, slice it thinly. If not, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and roast the turkey slices for about 30 minutes until heated through.

  2. 4

    Prepare the dressing

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, vinegar, and Italian seasoning together. This will be used as a dressing for the subs.

  3. 5

    Assemble the homemade sub

Slice the sub rolls in half. Drizzle the dressing on both sides of the rolls. Layer the turkey slices and provolone cheese on the bottom half, then close the sandwich with the top half.
