Pasta

Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, wash and chop the bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 4

    Toss the Pasta and Vegetables

Once the pasta is cooked and drained, add it to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss everything together until well combined.

  2. 5

    Add Finishing Touches

Remove the skillet from heat. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil. Mix well to allow the cheese to melt slightly.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Serve the Pasta Primavera warm, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and basil if desired.
