Method

Preparation of Dry Ingredients

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk together until well blended.

Preparation of Wet Ingredients

  1. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until fully combined.

Mixing & Cooking

  1. 3

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; some lumps are okay.

  2. 4

    Preheat Pan

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with a little butter or oil if necessary.

  3. 5

    Cook Pancakes

Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the heated skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.

  4. 6

    Serve

Remove pancakes from the skillet and serve warm topped with maple syrup and fresh berries.
