Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the thick-cut bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess fat.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Onions

Slice the onion into thick rings and roast them in the same skillet used for the bacon on medium heat until caramelized and golden brown, approximately 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Form the Patties

Divide the ground beef into two equal parts and gently form into burger patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

In the same skillet or a grill, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place a slice of American cheese on each patty. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the desired doneness is reached.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Spread 2 tablespoons of black garlic aioli on the bottom half of each burger bun. Place the cooked burger patty with cheese on top, followed by two slices of crispy bacon, the roasted onion, and any optional toppings like lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the House Burger Jr. immediately with your choice of sides, such as fries or a salad.
