Preparation
- 1
Gather and Prepare Herbs
Collect the Genepi flowers and fresh mint leaves. Rinse them gently under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
- 2
Infuse the Vodka
In a clean glass jar, combine the Genepi flowers and fresh mint leaves. Pour the high-quality vodka over the herbs, ensuring they are fully submerged. Seal the jar tightly and shake it gently to mix.

- 4
Strain the Mixture
After 7 to 10 days, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into another clean jar to remove the solid herbs. Discard the solids.
- 5
Prepare Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine equal parts sugar and water (100 ml each) over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved, then remove from the heat and let cool.
- 6
Combine Ingredients
Once the simple syrup has cooled, add it to the strained herb-infused vodka. Stir gently to combine.
- 7
Dilute with Water
Add the filtered water to the mixture and stir well to combine all ingredients.
Serving
- 8
Chill and Serve
Refrigerate the Genepy for at least 2 hours before serving. To serve, pour into small glasses and enjoy chilled, optionally garnished with a fresh mint leaf.
