Brookies Preparation

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Butter and Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, cream together 1 cup of unsalted butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, and 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add 2 large eggs and 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix until fully incorporated.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, and 1 tsp of baking powder.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.

Scoop and Bake
Scoop the batter onto a lined baking sheet, creating six equal portions. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are set.
