Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, eggs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

Form Meatballs
Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.

Cook Meatballs
In a large skillet over medium heat, add a little olive oil and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Add Tomatoes and Season
Pour in the crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

Combine Meatballs and Sauce
Return the browned meatballs to the skillet. Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes.

Prepare Sub Rolls
Slice the sub rolls in half lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
