Preparing the Flower Petal Salt

Mix the Salt and Petals
In a small bowl, combine the coarse sea salt and dried edible flower petals. Mix well to ensure the petals are evenly distributed throughout the salt. Set aside.
Making the Clarified Hibiscus Margarita

Prepare Hibiscus Infusion
In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the dried hibiscus flowers and reduce the heat to a simmer. Allow the flowers to steep for about 15 minutes, then strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl, discarding the solids. Let the hibiscus infusion cool completely.

Combine Ingredients
In a shaker, combine 2 oz of the cooled hibiscus infusion, 2 oz of blanco tequila, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and Serve
Strain the margarita mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wheel or a few dried flower petals if desired.
