Preparation
- 1
Mix the Base
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend them together until smooth and creamy.
- 2
Add the Clams
Gently fold in the drained canned clams into the cream cheese mixture. Be careful not to break up the clams too much.
- 3
Season the Dip
Add the lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to the mixture. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- 4
Incorporate Fresh Herbs
Fold in the chopped fresh parsley for added flavor and a pop of color.
- 5
Chill the Dip
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate the dip for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
- 6
Serve
Once chilled, serve the clam dip in a serving bowl with a side of potato chips for dipping.
