Coleslaw Preparation

Make the Coleslaw
In a large bowl, combine shredded green cabbage and grated carrot.

In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture, and toss until well combined. Set aside.
Russian Dressing Preparation

Prepare the Russian Dressing
In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and salt to taste.

Stir until all ingredients are well combined. Adjust seasoning if necessary. Set aside.
Sandwich Assembly

Assemble the Sandwich
In a skillet over medium heat, warm the pastrami until heated through.

While the pastrami is heating, toast the rye bread slices in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown.
