Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, combine minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and lime juice. Mix well until the sugar dissolves.

Marinate the Steak
Slice the flank steak into thin strips and add them to the marinade. Ensure all pieces are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for better flavor.

Prepare Skewers
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Thread the marinated steak strips onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
