Cranberry Coconut Goat Cheese Ingredients

Method

Cranberry Coconut Goat Cheese Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Goat Cheese Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the goat cheese and dried cranberries. Mix until well combined. Form the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with gluten-free flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with gluten-free breadcrumbs mixed with shredded coconut.

  3. 3

    Bread the Goat Cheese Balls

Roll each goat cheese ball first in the gluten-free flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb and coconut mixture. Place the breaded balls back onto the baking sheet.

  4. 4

    Fry the Goat Cheese Balls

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the goat cheese balls in batches, frying until golden brown on all sides (about 2-3 minutes per side). Remove them and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  5. 5

    Prepare Salted Honey

In a small bowl, mix the honey with a pinch of salt to create the salted honey dipping sauce.

  6. 6

    Serve

Arrange the fried goat cheese balls on a serving platter and serve with the salted honey on the side for dipping.
