Noodles and Toppings

Method

Prepare Wontons

  1. 1

    Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, green onions, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well until fully combined.

  2. 2

    Assemble Wontons

Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the filling into the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper over to form a triangle, and press to seal. Bring the two corners together to form a wonton shape and seal again. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

Prepare Broth

  1. 3

    Simmer the Broth

In a large pot, combine chicken broth, pork broth, minced garlic, and sliced ginger. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes. Add soy sauce, salt, and black pepper to taste.

Cook Noodles and Assemble Soup

  1. 4

    Cook the Noodles

In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. 5

    Cook the Wontons

In the simmering broth, gently add the prepared wontons and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they float to the surface and are cooked through.

  3. 6

    Add Toppings

Add the cooked egg noodles, sliced BBQ pork, squid, and imitation crab meat into serving bowls. Ladle the hot broth with wontons over the noodles and toppings.

  4. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish each bowl with chopped green onions and cilantro. Serve hot and enjoy!
