Preparing the Filling

Cook the Meat
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground pork or chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Season the Mixture
Add soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Mix well and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
Assembling the Egg Rolls

Prepare the Wrappers
Take an egg roll wrapper and place it on a clean surface with one corner facing you.

Fill the Wrapper
Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the cooled filling onto the center of the wrapper.

Roll the Egg Roll
Fold the corner closest to you over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly away from you. Seal the edge with a little water.
Frying the Egg Rolls

Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Egg Rolls
Carefully place the egg rolls in the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serving

Serve with Sauce
Serve the egg rolls hot with sweet chili sauce on the side for dipping.
