Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, mix warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Add the activated yeast mixture, melted unsalted butter, eggs, and milk. Mix until a soft dough forms.

  4. 4

    Knead Dough

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  5. 5

    Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.

Filling Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare Cream Cheese Filling

In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

  2. 7

    Prepare Fruit Filling

Chop fresh fruits into small pieces and set aside.

Assembling Pastries

  1. 8

    Shape the Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thickness.

  2. 9

    Cut and Fill

Cut the dough into squares or circles. Place a spoonful of cream cheese filling and a few pieces of fresh fruit in the center of each piece. Fold over and seal the edges.

  3. 10

    Prepare for Baking

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the filled pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking and Topping

  1. 11

    Bake Pastries

Bake the pastries in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

  2. 12

    Prepare Topping

In a small bowl, mix confectioners sugar and milk to create a glaze. Drizzle over the warm pastries.

  3. 13

    Serve

Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your fresh pastries!
