Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fries

Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the frozen French fries package. Spread the frozen fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, usually about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Pastrami

While the fries are baking, heat the sliced hot pastrami in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally until heated through, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Coleslaw

In a bowl, combine the coleslaw mix with half of the Russian dressing. Stir until the mix is well coated. Adjust seasoning by adding more dressing if desired.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble the Capastrami Fries

Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese over the hot fries, followed by the heated pastrami. Top with the coleslaw mixture and drizzle the remaining Russian dressing over the top.
