Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water. Set aside while you prepare the drink.

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, Aperol, hibiscus agave syrup, blood orange juice, lime juice, and rhubarb bitters. Fill the shaker with ice.

Shake the mixture vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Serving

Strain and Serve
Discard the ice water from the chilled cocktail glass. Use a fine mesh strainer to pour the cocktail mixture into the prepared glass.

Garnish the drink with a slice of blood orange and an edible flower if using.
