Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, finely diced pear, chopped green onions, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- 2
Assemble the Rangoons
Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the filling into the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges with a little water, then fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal. You can also bring the corners together to form a traditional rangoon shape if desired.
- 3
Fry the Rangoons
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the filled rangoons in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Serve
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as sweet and sour or soy sauce.
