Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Preparation

Remove the ribeyes from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This helps in even cooking.

  2. 2

    Seasoning

Pat the ribeyes dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with olive oil, then generously season with kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  3. 3

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (around 450°F to 500°F).

  4. 4

    Grill the Ribeye

Place the ribeyes on the hot grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes on one side without moving them. Flip and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes for medium-rare.

  5. 5

    Basting

During the last few minutes of cooking, add the butter and rosemary to the grill. As the butter melts, use a spoon to baste the ribeyes with the melted butter.

  6. 6

    Resting

Remove the ribeyes from the grill and let them rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

  7. 7

    Serving

Slice the ribeyes and serve with your choice of sides.
