Twisted Cork Burger

Drunken Mussels

Laura's Lahvosh

Method

Twisted Cork Burger

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into 2 equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns lightly. Place the cooked patties on the bottom bun, top with cheese, lettuce, tomato slices, onion, ketchup, and mustard. Place the top bun and serve.

Drunken Mussels

  1. 4

    Prepare Mussels

Rinse the mussels under cold water, scrubbing the shells to remove any debris.

  2. 5

    Sauté Aromatics

In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped shallots, sautéing until soft.

  3. 6

    Add Mussels and Wine

Add the prepared mussels and white wine to the pot. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes until mussels open.

  4. 7

    Finish and Serve

Stir in chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Serve hot with crusty bread.

Laura's Lahvosh

  1. 8

    Prepare Lahvosh

Lay the lahvosh bread flat on a serving platter.

  2. 9

    Spread Hummus

Spread a generous layer of hummus over the lahvosh.

  3. 10

    Add Toppings

Slice cucumber and bell pepper thinly. Arrange on top of the hummus, then sprinkle with feta cheese. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle paprika.

Crying Crackers

  1. 11

    Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine cracker mix, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and dried herbs.

  2. 12

    Bake Crackers

Spread the mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.

  3. 13

    Cool and Serve

Remove from oven and let cool. Break into pieces and serve as a snack or appetizer.
