Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the sockeye salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the fish. Ensure each fillet is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 4

    Bake the Salmon

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the marinated salmon fillets on it. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate the Dish

Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve on plates with optional lemon slices and extra dill sprigs for garnish.
