Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruits

Wash and slice the oranges and lemons into thin rounds. Core and chop the apples into bite-sized pieces. If using whole berries, rinse them under cold water. Cut the pineapple into small chunks.

  2. 2

    Combine Fruits

In a large pitcher, combine all the prepared fruits: oranges, lemons, apples, berries, and pineapple. Mix gently to combine.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Add Liquids

Pour the entire bottle of red wine into the pitcher with the fruits. Then add the orange juice, brandy, and sparkling water. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.

  2. 4

    Sweeten the Sangria

Add sugar to the mixture and stir until fully dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste if necessary.

Chilling

  1. 5

    Refrigerate

Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor. This allows the fruits to infuse the sangria.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

When ready to serve, add ice to glasses and pour the sangria over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a refreshing touch.
