Beef Patty Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Beef Patty
In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until well combined. Avoid overmixing.
- 2
Shape the Patty
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.

Add Cheese
Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patty reaches your desired doneness.
Assembling the Cheeseburger

Prepare the Buns
While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and lightly toast them, if desired.
- 6
Add Toppings
On the bottom half of each bun, layer the lettuce leaves, followed by the cooked beef patty with melted cheddar cheese, and then add slices of fresh tomato.
- 7
Add Special Sauce
Drizzle the special sauce over the tomato slices and top with the other half of the bun.
