Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Add Edamame
Once the water is boiling, carefully add 2 cups of edamame to the pot.

Cook Edamame
Allow the edamame to boil for 5-7 minutes, or until the pods are tender and bright green.

Drain Edamame
Using a colander, drain the cooked edamame, making sure to shake off any excess water.

Season with Salt
While the edamame is still warm, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt over the top and toss gently to coat.

Serve
Transfer the seasoned edamame to a serving bowl and enjoy hot or warm.
