Directions
- 1
Pull the espresso
Extract two espresso shots to yield about 60 ml of concentrated espresso for the latte base.
- 2
Steam the milk
Steam and texture the milk to a creamy microfoam, aiming for around 65°C (149°F). For plant-based milks, heat until steaming and achieve a similar creamy texture.
- 3
Combine for hot latte
Pour the steamed milk into the espresso, tilting the cup to mix. Spoon a small amount of foam on top to finish the hot latte.
- 4
Iced latte option
If you prefer an iced latte, fill a tall glass with ice, pour the espresso over the ice, add cold milk from the milk option, and stir. Top with a light foam if desired.
