Aguas Frescas
Method
Aguas Frescas
- 1
Muddle mint with lime
In a small bowl, gently muddle the mint leaves with the fresh lime juice to release essential oils and aroma.
- 2
Mix the base
In a large pitcher, pour in the Mexican Coca-Cola and the cold water. Stir gently to blend while preserving as much fizz as possible.
- 3
Add mint-lime infusion
Pour the muddled mint and lime juice into the pitcher and stir to combine with the cola-water mixture.
- 4
Sweeten to taste
If desired, add granulated sugar and stir until completely dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- 5
Chill and serve
Fill four glasses with ice cubes. Evenly pour the beverage over the ice.
- 6
Garnish and present
Garnish each glass with a lime slice and a mint sprig before serving.
