Prepare the Tuna
In a bowl, combine the diced tuna with lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Toss gently and set aside to marinate for about 10 minutes.

Assemble the Nachos
On a large baking sheet or platter, spread out the tortilla chips evenly. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the chips.

Add Toppings
Layer the marinated tuna, diced avocado, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeño slices (if using) over the chips. Top with the remaining shredded cheese.

Melt the Cheese
Place the nachos under a broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep a close eye to avoid burning.

Garnish and Serve
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh cilantro. Serve immediately with additional lime wedges on the side.
