For the Whiskey Dip

Method

Preparing the Seared Salmon Bites

  1. 1

    Cut the Salmon

Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, approximately 1 inch in size.

  2. 2

    Season the Salmon

In a bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Add the salmon cubes and gently toss to coat them evenly with the seasoning.

  3. 3

    Heat the Pan

In a non-stick skillet, heat over medium-high heat. Allow the skillet to get hot.

  4. 4

    Sear the Salmon Bites

Place the seasoned salmon cubes in the hot skillet in a single layer. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  5. 5

    Garnish

Sprinkle the fresh dill over the seared salmon bites before serving.

Making the Whiskey Dip

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium bowl, add the mayonnaise, whiskey, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 7

    Mix Well

Whisk the ingredients together until smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

  3. 8

    Chill the Dip

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
