Salad Preparation

Prepare the Salad Base
In a large salad bowl, add the mesclun greens as the base for your salad.

Chop the Vegetables
Slice the cucumber into thin rounds and add it to the bowl. Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them as well. Finely slice the red onion and sprinkle it over the salad.
Crouton Preparation

Make the Croutons
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread into small cubes.

Season and Bake
In a bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil and dried herbs. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy, stirring halfway through.
Dressing Preparation

Mix the Dressing
In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, honey, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Assembly

Combine and Serve
Once the croutons are ready and slightly cooled, add them to the salad bowl. Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately.
