Method

Preparation of the Sauce

  1. 1

    Make the Truth Sauce

In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well until smooth, then set aside.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood-smoked bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.

  2. 3

Form and Cook the Beef Patty

In a bowl, form the ground beef into a patty, slightly larger than the glazed donut. Season with salt and pepper. In the same skillet, cook the beef patty over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side until it reaches your desired doneness.

  3. 4

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking the beef patty, place the white cheddar cheese on top and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

  4. 5

    Fry the Egg

In a separate non-stick skillet, crack the egg and cook on low heat until the whites are set but the yolk is still runny, about 3-4 minutes.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

Assemble the Glazed + Confused Burger

Slice the glazed donuts in half horizontally. On the bottom half, spread a generous amount of truth sauce. Layer with the cooked burger patty topped with melted cheese, crispy bacon, over-easy egg, and shaved red onion. Top with the other half of the glazed donut. Serve immediately.
