Burger Preparation

1. Prepare the Turkey Patties

In a bowl, combine ground turkey, salt, and black pepper. Form into 4 equal-sized patties.

2. Cook the Turkey Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F.

3. Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of smoked gouda on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

Jalapeño Remoulade Preparation

4. Make the Remoulade

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, finely chopped jalapeño, lemon juice, garlic powder, and hot sauce. Mix well and set aside.

Assembly

5. Assemble the Burger

On a lettuce leaf, place the turkey patty with melted gouda, slices of avocado, and tomato. Drizzle with jalapeño remoulade. Top with another lettuce leaf if desired and serve.
