Cake Preparation

Melt the Chocolate
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the TCHO 68% chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.

Mix Wet Ingredients
Stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract into the melted chocolate mixture until well combined.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped almonds.

Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch (23 cm) round cake pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
