Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Fra Diavolo Sauce

In the same skillet, add fire-roasted tomatoes, red pepper flakes, brandy, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 5-7 minutes to thicken the sauce.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, stirring to combine with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through. Stir in the chopped parsley.

  5. 5

    Serve

In serving plates, place a portion of pasta and top with the shrimp Fra Diavolo sauce. Drizzle with marinara sauce and garnish with additional parsley if desired.
