Brewing Process

1. Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients and ensure you have the necessary brewing equipment.

2. Boil the Water

In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil.

3. Add Barley and Roasted Barley

Once the water is boiling, add 2 cups of barley malt and 1 cup of roasted barley. Stir well and let it simmer for 30 minutes.

4. Add Hops

After 30 minutes, add 1 tablespoon of hops to the mixture and simmer for an additional 15 minutes.

5. Cool the Mixture

Remove the pot from heat and let the mixture cool down to room temperature.

6. Add Yeast and Other Ingredients

Once cool, add 1 teaspoon of non-alcoholic brewing yeast, 1 tablespoon of molasses, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, and 2 tablespoons of caramel syrup. Stir well to combine.

7. Ferment

Transfer the mixture to a fermentation vessel, cover it, and let it ferment for 24-48 hours at room temperature.

8. Bottle the Stout

After fermentation, siphon the stout into clean bottles, leaving some headspace, and cap them.

9. Chill and Serve

Chill the bottles in the refrigerator before serving. Enjoy your homemade non-alcoholic Guinness stout!
