Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Oven and Rice
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cook the rice according to package instructions; set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Salmon
In a bowl, mix the grated Romano cheese, Panko breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 3
Crust the Salmon
Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets, then press the cheese and breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each fillet.
- 4
Bake the Salmon
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the salmon is cooked through.
- 5
Toast the Rice
While the salmon is baking, heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the cooked rice and toast for a few minutes until lightly golden and heated through.
- 6
Serve
Plate the toasted rice and top with the Romano crusted salmon. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
