Prepare the Ingredients
Slice the mushrooms, chop the onion, and mince the garlic. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.

Add Marsala Wine
Pour the Marsala wine into the skillet with the mushrooms and onions. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it reduce for about 5 minutes.

Combine and Finish
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes until heated through. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
