In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt and black pepper. Toss to ensure all wings are evenly coated.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
Cooking Chicken Wings

Bake the Wings
Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through until they are golden brown and crispy.
Preparing Firecracker Sauce

Mix the Sauce
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the hot sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, ginger powder, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Tossing the Wings

Combine Wings and Sauce
Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the firecracker sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
