Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
Breading the Chicken
Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes. In the first dish, place the flour. In the second dish, beat the eggs. In the third dish, place the breadcrumbs. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off the excess, dip in the beaten eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumbs.
- 3
Frying the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Assembly
- 4
Add Sauce and Cheese
In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom. Place the fried chicken breasts on top of the sauce. Spoon additional marinara sauce over the chicken and then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese generously on top.
- 5
Baking
Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving

Garnish and Serve
Once done, remove the Chicken Parmesan from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil before serving. Enjoy your meal!
