Once the gelato balls are firm, take one ball and insert a hazelnut-stuffed cherry into the center. Cover the cherry completely with gelato, ensuring it is sealed.

Assemble the Tartufi

Dip each filled gelato ball into the melted dark chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Place on a parchment-lined tray.

Coat with Chocolate

While the chocolate is still wet, dust each tartufo with cocoa powder for added flavor.

Dust with Cocoa Powder

Return the coated tartufi to the freezer for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve chilled.
