Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Spaghetti

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pancetta

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced pancetta and cook until it becomes crispy, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Onions

Add the chopped onion to the skillet with the pancetta and sauté until the onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add the Peas

Stir in the frozen peas and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they are heated through.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Cream Sauce

In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Add a bit of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.

  6. 6

    Combine Everything

Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the pancetta, onions, and peas. Pour the cream sauce over the spaghetti and toss everything together until well combined.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and black pepper if desired.
