Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Capellini
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the capellini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Salmon
Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 3
Pan-Seer the Salmon
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
- 4
Make the Pesto Sauce
Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream to the skillet. Stir in the fresh basil pesto until well combined and heated through.
- 5
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked capellini to the skillet with the pesto sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.
- 6
Serve
Plate the pesto capellini and top with the pan-seared salmon. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
