Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Dredge the Chicken
Set up a dredging station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. First, coat each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- 3
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
- 4
Assemble the Chicken Parm
In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce. Place the fried chicken breasts on top, then spoon more marinara sauce over each piece. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- 5
Bake
Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Once out of the oven, sprinkle with chopped fresh basil. Serve hot with pasta or a side salad.
