Add Tomatoes
Crush the canned tomatoes by hand or with a spoon and add them to the saucepan along with their juices.

Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Italian sausage, bread crumbs, grated Parmesan, egg, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Form Meatballs
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter.

Cook Meatballs
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the meatballs on all sides. Once browned, transfer them to the simmering Pomodoro sauce and cook for an additional 20 minutes, or until cooked through.

Cook the Spaghetti
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve a bit of pasta water.
