Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a large bowl, season the lean chuck beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the beef into two equal portions and gently form them into burger patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing while cooking.

  2. 2

    Cook the Burgers

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top, and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until the burgers reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Buns

While the burgers are cooking, toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burgers

On the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, layer the lettuce, cooked burger patty with melted cheddar, tomato slices, pickles, and bacon (if using). Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Enjoy your T.P. Cheddar Burger with your favorite side dishes!
