Omelet Ingredients

Method

Omelet Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 2

    Cook the Omelet

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Once the butter is bubbling, pour in the egg mixture and let it cook undisturbed for about 2-3 minutes or until the edges start to set.

  3. 3

    Add Crabmeat and Cheese

Sprinkle the crabmeat and Swiss cheese evenly over one half of the omelet. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese begins to melt.

  4. 4

    Fold and Serve

Carefully fold the omelet in half over the filling and slide it onto a plate. Serve hot with Baldwin County grits or pub fries.
